Ryan Seacrest Surprised By Sacha Baron Cohen's Oscar Stunt
'I definitely did not know that he was going to do that,' Seacrest said on his radio show on Monday.

Who better to try to flap than the unflappable Ryan Seacrest? If he could put up with Simon Cowell's constant attacks for nearly a decade, surely the 'Crest could handle a sneak attack from the Dictator.
And, true to his laser-focus reputation, when Sacha Baron Cohen's Dictator ash-bombed Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night, the "American Idol" host kept his composure. After all, he had to know that SBC was not just going to show up in costume, but was very likely going to create one of his infamous scenes to drive up some hype for his upcoming tyrant spoof.
"I was surprised, but not surprised. I definitely did not know that he was going to do that," Seacrest said on Monday morning (February 27) on his radio show, "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," about his surprise when Cohen "accidentally" spilled an urn filled with the purported ashes of late North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il on the TV presenter's tux. "He comes over and I asked him a couple of questions but ... you know that feeling in your gut."
Knowing that Cohen was not going to let him off that easy, Seacrest said in the back of his mind he kept thinking, "This guy isn't coming as the Dictator to not do something ... you know in your gut, you feel like, 'This is going too normally.' " And then when he saw the urn come out, Seacrest could see something coming. "It was getting closer to my chest and then it tipped over. And it wasn't the wind. He spilt it on my tuxedo."
Did we mention Seacrest is hard to rattle? The consummate professional didn't flinch because he smartly followed the advice his mother, Connie, gave him long ago when he was just a wee wannabe presenter: " 'You always want to have two jackets. You never know what's going to happen. You never know what you're going to spill on yourself and you want to be red carpet-ready at all times. That's your job.' So I had another jacket." Seacrest had a great attitude about the gag, which drew a thumbs-up from some of the other celebs MTV News talked to at Elton John's annual Oscar-viewing party and charity gala.

Daphne Dortch on The Biggest Loser Elimination: So Glad That's Over!
Daphne Dortch shook up The Biggest Loser last week and paid the ultimate price for it. But she has no regrets, in fact, she says she's glad to be outta there.
When presented with the opportunity to alter the composition of the red and black teams, Dortch ate over 1,800 calories to guarantee she'd have control.
"I ate the [peanut butter cups] because I wanted to stay with [my trainer Bob]," Dortch told reporters after her elimination. Then the ish hit the fan though.
After gaining the power, Dortch chose to switch her teammate Jeremy for his sister Conda, whom she blamed for evicting her brother Adrian two weeks ago.
"It was very personal," she said of that decision. "I switched them out of revenge but I had no idea the house was going to be devastated by the switch."
Dortch and her brother joined the teams on the Ranch a month into the season after losing a combined 50 lbs. at home, but were not greeted with open arms.
"We never had a chance," she said of returning to the Ranch. "They had already bonded for a month before we even got there. I think it came down to that."
Her brother Adrian was rejected by his teammates, but Dortch says her black team "may have appeared to have accepted me but I don't think they ever did."
"They were just very quiet about it."
"A part of me was extremely relieved to be sent home," she continued. "It doesn't feel good to be in a house of people where no one likes you and talks to you."
Now back at home in Evanston, Ill., Dortch, a mother of three, is making major changes in her life as well. Given all she's gone through, her story resonates.
"I am 37-years-old and I was living at home with my parents – not because I didn't have the money but because I was living in fear. I thought every day I was going to die," said Dortch, who suffers from atrial fibrillation and sleep apnea.
But Dortch has now moved with her children into a house of her own.
"I've already won The Biggest Loser because I don't need to have someone here in order for me to go to sleep," she said, having lost over 70 lbs. now.
"I [feel] like Dorothy. I feel like it was in me all along. I just had to do it."

MTV News visits the set of Odd Future's brand-new video to figure out what the zany clip is all about.

"I have a gay couple, it's a bunny and a chicken, girls get slapped in the face and I snort a lot of coke." That was the only way that Tyler, the Creator could described Odd Future's latest video, "Rella," when MTV News caught up with him and his merry band of musical misfits on the set recently in California.
It may sound zany, but the clip for "Rella," the first single off of OFWGKTA's upcoming OF Tape Vol 2 comes as advertised. Directed by Wolf Haley (Tyler's alter ego), "The Rella" begins with Hodgy Beats dressed in video game-inspired body armor busting through brick walls and running amok through a suburban neighborhood. "I'm just the n---a that comes through and f---s everything up," he said.
OF spitter Domo Genesis plays a much different, but equally animated role. "My character is like a '70s-type pimp guy, and when people get out of line, I get to smack 'em in the face," he told MTV News, before complaining about his ill-fitted wardrobe. "I'm enjoying that, the only thing that I'm not enjoying is that this sweater is pretty little."
Far from your standard hip-hop fare, "Rella" isn't as awe-inspiring as Tyler's VMA winning video for "Yonkers," but it bucks rap rules all the same. Choosing to lay a comedic theme over the song's bassy and sometimes sinister track, OF come off nothing like their contemporaries. On the song's final verse, Tyler begins snorting an entire mound of cocaine (which we assume is fake), before a camera pan reveals the outspoken rapper/producer as a shirtless Centaur who wears a bobbed woman's wig.
Lyrically, "Rella" has no concrete theme; it's just a spew of obnoxious rhymes, and the clip comes off pretty much the same way. Don't confuse it with haphazardness, though: The three-and-a-half-minute video plays out just how the group intended. "Super Stoked About rella. Now Waiting For Someone To Say How It Coudlve Been Better Or Something, Even Tho They Cant Do Better Ayyye," Tyler tweeted on Monday after he dropped a link to the YouTube video.
Then on Tuesday, he addressed the video's critics in a Tyler-like fashion. "Someone Told Me Today ' I Didnt Get The Video'. Its Nothing To Get, Its Just Random Thoughts," he wrote on Twitter."People Think To F---ing Much."
